Terena Agle was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in BC’s Lower Mainland where she currently resides. Terena has always been creative and started designing jewellry in high school. She demonstrated a creative ease that set the foundation for a successful future.
Terena honed her trade at the Granville Island Market and The Crystal Ark while working with another master jeweller. In 1989 she decided to put her creative spirit to the test and launched Silver Suspensions. Since its inception, Terena’s timeless earrings, bracelets and necklaces have been highly popular.
Products include the unique line of asymmetrical colour-beaded earrings now known as the ‘Originals.’ Her work incorporates semi-precious stones, glass beads, Swarovski crystals or Japanese miracle beads, making all her inspirations stunning. Terena has specialized in nickel free Sterling Silver and gold designs that are meant to be worn daily by all yet still are exquisite.
Terena’s style has evolved through the 18 years of Silver Suspensions, but what remains consistent is her unique style of free-form jewellery. “We were leaders in the ‘80s and we’re still leaders in creating quality Sterling Silver jewellery at competitive pricing.” Terena, and the team at Silver Suspensions, is very passionate, hard-working and enthusiastic and are focusing on developing a larger client base throughout Canada and the United States.
Terena has many hobbies alongside custom-made jewellery. She is an avid equestrian rider with her beloved horse, Norman. She is also a devoted dog lover and raises, breeds, and shows English Bulldogs. Terena currently has two bulldogs, Dyna and Sally. We would like to encourage everyone to support local retailers.
